PSYCHIC TV - Alienist

Limited to 1000 copies on opaque white vinyl - 34 mins 45 secs of music . Alienist is the follow-up to
2014's highly acclaimed Snakes which explored Genesis Breyer P-Orridges foray into African Vou-
doun culture, the title track of which will be used in the forthcoming documentary Bight Of The Twin,
which focuses on Genesis' explorations in Benin, Africa. Alienist in part explores drummer and Psy-
chic TV's co-producer Edley ODowd's fascination of Psychic TVs long-time reinterpretation of con-
temporary rock classics - this time tackling "Jump Into The Fire" by Harry Nilsson as well as Genesis'
teenage favourite "How Does It Feel To Feel" by '60s British psychedelic rockers The Creation. Original tracks include the haunt-
ing yet emotional " Looking For You". An epic journey in which Genesis lets Lucifer himself know that his 'time is over' as well as
the title track 'Alienist'. A delightful fusion of dance grooves harking back to PTVs Acid House days and the Genesis and the
bands love of heavy psychedelic rock.

GENERAL CATALOGUE INFORMATION
We aim to provide up to date images of the products and accurate information. However, product detail may change from time to time and there may be a delay in making updates.
We understand some collectors are after a particular variant of coloured, transparent or marbled vinyl, however in most cases these varieties are released in limited quantities for the first pressing - then revert to "plain ordinary" black vinyl - with the same barcode and catalogue number. It is now common practice by record companies to release a first pressing on coloured vinyl of some titles to help promote the album on its initial release.
